Dawn at Twin Lakes

Hot fresh off the press, a shot from dawn today at Twin Lakes near Leadville, Colorado.

Blanca Peak 14,345ft and Ellingwood Point 14,042ft

No warm sunshine glow on the peaks this morning at sunrise but the low flying clouds made for a very dramatic shot instead.

I backpacked in Monday afternoon and spent most of the afternoon mainly in my tent due to the off and on thunderstorms but I was rewarded with brief light at sunset.
